I actually had time to do some more layouts. YEA! Both of these layouts are taken from pages I saw in my recent copy of Simple Scrapbooks. I am really enjoying finding cool layouts and then applying my photos and kits I have to create these pages. Plus it is so much quicker if I don't have to think up how to do the entire page from scratch. The first layout is of Cole at the Children's museum. He thought that pin wall was so cool! The second layout is of Alexis just hanging out at home. Both use kits from ShabbyPrincess.com.
Otherwise today was a pretty good day. Cole got to take a bunch of pages to color to daycare that we had printed off the night before. He was handing out different pages to his friends and coloring before we even left! Alexis was of course a little angel - or so they keep telling me. After daycare we took Cole (and Alexis) to McDonald's so he could check out the play place. We've never taken him there before. He thought it was a lot of fun, but was too scared to go very far in the tunnels. Even when the girl there who was monitoring the play place offered to go up with him, he still chickened out. Maybe next time.

Today went by way to fast. It was so nice for all of us to be home for three days over the holiday weekend. It was sunny, but cold out. However that didn't stop Cole from wanting to go outside and play when we got home. After he came in he was mad at me because I told him he couldn't have ice cream until after dinner. He threw a fit, had to take a time out...and it all went down hill from there. I wound up with a nice bite on my shoulder that is all puffy and very sore. Luckily Dad came in to "save the day". Eric got him to calm down and after dinner (I didn't eat with them since I was feeding Alexis) Cole did come and kiss my "owie" and tell me he was sorry. I tell you...the things you go through as a parent!
Well I'm still working on my photos from September. Here are some of Cole at Craig's soccer game. Saw the layout with the soccer ball in one of my mags and knew it was perfect for these photos.
