Halloween

So I haven't had a chance to scrap the pages yet - but I knew you'd all be just chomping at the bit to see the kiddos dress up in their little pirate outfits.
So here you go. Also going to try and upload some video of Cole and his pirate talk. It was too cute.


Update: finally got Cole to tell me what he's saying.
"Arrrhhh maytee's - are you ready to sail the waters?"

So a few more photos from October. So far I'm all caught up for Oct...but I'm sure that won't take long to change. :) Just wait until Halloween when I'm sure to take tons of photos of my little pirates!
The first layout is of Alexis home sick. She was totally snuggley and didn't want to play. Just sit with mom - that was a BIG clue she wasn't feeling good. She did like getting to sit in Dad's big chair all by herself though. :) The second layout is a quick page that I just plunked my photos into. Cole and Sy had such a great time together. They are so fun to watch! The last layout I created with inspiration from one of Becky Higgin's sketches. I love the field trip to the pumpkin patch. This is the second year I've been able to go with Cole's class and we had such a good time! Cole was so proud of his pumpkin and can't wait to draw a bat on it (no idea where that came from - but that's what he wants to do). Enjoy.

Apple Orchard

Only a few pages...but better than nothing. :) I wanted to get the apple orchard pages done because tomorrow we are going to the pumpkin patch! We had a great time with Cole's class picking apples and playing. Cole ate his entire apple, and had a blast on the giant hay pile!

Also have a pix of Alexis from breakfast a couple weeks ago at Fayze's. She was just being too cute! Liked the "quick page" so I just plopped it in and ran with it.

The pix of me with the kids is also a quick page from cottage arts.

Only one picture for you today...Alexis and her little man. What her obsession is for the little white bearded men (see Christmas at my Grandma's) I do not know. But she sure is affectionate.

A few quick layouts before I hit the hey. :) The first is of Cole driving Grandpa's digger at the Farm. Cole thought that was pretty cool. Original layout by me, various kits used.

The 2nd and 3rd layouts are modified quick pages. I just had so many cute pix of Cole and Nolan I couldn't decide which ones to use - so I used them all! Nolan sure is a sweetie!

Vacation is over...

Now to get started on all the photos from our week long stay up at the cabin! Whew...

Now it's back to work tomorrow. Back to reality. Sometimes I wish we could just stay at the cabin for a month. The peace fullness/simplicity of it all (and still having Internet!) is incredible. I never thought I'd enjoy bumming around in random clothes, taking a shower outside every few days, and never putting on mascara would feel so good - but it does. And the kids just love it. Being outside, getting dirty (and trust me they do!). It's great.
But all good things must come to an end. Back to daily of life of work, home, Eric traveling, the dogs - and don't tell Cole...the the untimely death of our 20 year old newt. Sorry Paula, he finally met his end. Well I must get ready to go to bed so I can start the rigamarole of the work week.
And I'll be saying - Is it Friday yet???

Well I haven't had hardly any time to scrapbook on this week long vacation. Sigh. But we have had a lot of fun with family!

New Layouts!!! - and the Rainbow arrives at last!

So here are some new layouts of the kids - and of the newest addition to our back yard, which just arrived today. So you should all feel so lucky that I got to scrappin' ASAP so you can have a gander. :) The kids love it! It's amazing how well (and how fast) they can eat their dinner if they know they will get to go outside and play on the new Rainbow!
